LEED Consulting
Sam Dillehay LEED AP BD+C has managed the LEED certification process for multiple projects, including the Platinum rated office building at 231 Main Street, in New Paltz, NY.
Whether you are an OWNER exploring LEED Certification for your upcoming project, a member of the DESIGN TEAM looking to bring on an additional consultant, or a GENERAL CONTRACTOR bidding on a LEED project that requires the services of a LEED Consultant,
Dillehay Architecture can help!
LEED Feasibility and Project Assessment
While every project can benefit from the third party verification and commitment to sustainability goals that LEED requires, not every project is right for the LEED Rating system. An important first step involves a LEED Feasibility study.
As part of the Feasibility process, Dillehay Architecture will:
Develop a preliminary LEED scorecard to reach a minimum level of LEED Certification as well as describe possible alternative paths to certification. (45 points to allow a point threshold buffer).
Provide a review of LEED certification process, and general requirements.
Provide a broad brushed outline of responsibilities for all members of the project team. This will include Design Team, Consultants, and scorecard developed by LEED consulting team.
Provide estimates of overall cost impact on project. This will include ballpark estimates for necessary consultants, as well as additional time needed by the design and construction team.
LEED Consulting for General Contractors
We will work directly with the General Contractor to meet their required High Performance and Sustainable Building goals with regard to LEED (Third Party Certification)
